Luke 17:11-19 (KJV)

⛪️ May 22nd ⛪️

And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Did you catch that?  10 lepers where healed.  10, but only 1 came back to thank Jesus for healing him.  How quickly we get what we want then we move right along and not think twice about thanking God?  We get so excited about what the Lord provided but we neglect to stop and thank Him for it.

When was the last time you thanked God ?  Do you know He loads us DAILY with blessings, healing, air to breathe, a roof over our heads, a good nights sleep, food on the table to eat…the list goes on and on!  And He gives us these things DAILY.  We should be thankful and let Him know just how thankful we are!  What if He stopped giving us things?  What if He stopped answering our prayers?  What if He let the devil run us down?  He hears and answers prayers everyday!  He blesses our lives everyday and He keeps His hand of protection on us everyday!  Be thankful, praise Him and thank Him everyday!  HE is Worthy!

What if He only blessed you today with what you thanked Him for yesterday??  Something to think about!!
